2020 has been a year of unprecedented events. The impact of this is still being felt across Australia, including in our isolated, little school. We are working to ensure that our students do not miss out on the many, regular events on the calendar that mark the passing of the year for every child.
In second semester, we have enjoyed our River to Bay Athletics Carnival hosted by Gairdner Primary School, and we are keen to complete at the Fitzgerald Schools Sports Day. We have booked a Wildflower Workshop with local botanist, Sylvia Leighton, for the end of Term 3, and we are looking forward to our Learning Journey, when students are able to show their families what they have been learning.
Term 4 starts with our Senior Room students heading to the Fitzgerald River National Park for their annual camp. Students will be spending time investigating, and learning about, the biodiversity that our local treasure holds. We will be travelling to take part in a Kanga Cricket workshop, for a day of skills and socialisation with other, local schools.
While 2020 has been a little different, we are rising to the challenge at Bremer Bay Primary School, finding success with integrity.
